Rennie, George

3. December 1791 – 30. March 1866

An English mechanical engineer and inspector of the Royal Mint.

George Rennie’s father, John Rennie Senior (1761-1821) built the original Southwark Bridge in London.

In 1825 Johann Conrad Fischer visited this then famous engineer at his home in London.
